Many worldwide cities are known for not only exceptional culture and amazing sightseeing regions but also for a couple of phrases. For example, we all know which one is the windy city or the city of lights but recently things seem to be shifting a little bit. We all used to think there is only one city that never sleeps but sleeping seems so overrated these days. This is why many megacities can relate to this phrase and the next one on that list is Toronto.

The largest city in Canada, Toronto is getting more popular with people all ages but what is interesting is that high-rise buildings placed in a perfect order attract more youth ready to party than ever before. Why is this happening and why now who knows but we decided to take this thing seriously and investigate in person.

As soon as we landed in Toronto there was a special vibe going on. Not sure how to explain it but even though we were tired and jetlagged we felt energized. Canadians are known to be friendly and welcoming so we immediately found some company which just made our visit even more pleasant. You must admit, knowing where you are going and why it is helpful while on vacation. As you all know, no party can begin unless you are well fed. And the food isn’t lacking great taste and quantity! Delicious warm bagels with bacon warm your body and soul and the streets seem to smell like this all the time! Roasted meat is to die for and you can try it anywhere you want!

After you are rested and well-fed the party can begin! Nowadays in Toronto, there are not just clubs that work overnight but there are places that work all day as well! Imagine that, having to party and dance whenever you feel like it! Bars that are kept by locals for years are a great warm-up and Toronto Party Bus is the one event you just can not miss! It is a great opportunity for both party and go around the city safely! It is one of the best attractions and it has become so difficult to even book your ride.

As we went deeper and further into our experience we became to realize why Toronto is also one of the cities that never sleeps. Who has time for it when penthouse clubs are waiting or when party busses are going around all night and day? Honestly, we can’t remember when we had more fun in a couple of days. It all happens fast and you should be well-rested for it but once you step on the treadmill it is hard to get off!

Besides being a well-known tourist destination for its architecture, hilly landscapes, and liberal community San Francisco today has become a Mecca for the technology industry — companies like Netflix, Facebook, and Airbnb operate from the Bay area making it a center of the modern high-tech world. Even if you’re not a technology person, your travel experience will become brighter if apart from visiting the iconic attractions like the Golden bridge and Alcatraz you dive into the startup atmosphere and have a closer look at how life looks like from the inside.

You may think how a regular tourist can get into the corporate world? It’s easier than you thought — for example, for $25 you can buy a tour to the Airbnb headquarter guided by the company employee. You will meet in Airbnb’s lobby for a dinner at the cafeteria and then have a quick office tour. By the end of this experience, you’ll have a better understanding of how Airbnb started and developed its unique culture. You’ll also get to enjoy our great dinner and hospitality. Tip: no backpacks are allowed in the office so please come “bag free”.

Also, you can make a reservation and stay with an Airbnb host during your visit to San Francisco. It will be cheaper and will give you a deeper understanding of the Airbnb community. If you never used Airbnb before please see the tips to book a great place safely in San Francisco:

1. Filter by what matters
Can’t survive without wi-fi? Dreaming of a home with a hot tub? Just filter by the amenities you’re looking for.

2. Read guest reviews
Learn more about home by reading reviews from past guests. Keep an eye out for great reviews and high response rates — both of which are often indicators of a high-quality host.

3. Look at star ratings
See how homes are rated based on different criteria, such as cleanliness and host communication.

4. Look for a License number
Check if the host has a license number showing on the listing page under the License number section. If you see a number published this means the host is legally registered with the City of San Francisco, paid the fee, obtained the license, and Airbnb verified the license number is valid.

5. Talk to your prospect host.
You can message a host on Airbnb to ask them questions without providing payment details. Ask a few questions, after a short 1:1 chat communication you will understand what kind of person the host is. To message a host without making a reservation: go to the listing for the host you want to contact > click Contact Host on the listing page > enter the dates and number of guests for your trip > write your message and click Send Message.

6. Ask Airbnb community
Still not confident to book? Ask the Airbnb community on Airbnbase or Reddit — power users will drop an eye on the listing page you selected and help with advice in a minute.

Baku is the capital and the largest city in Azerbaijan. It is one of the most visited destinations in the country, and one of the most famous travel spots in the Caucasus. Some of the best attractions are downtown Fountains Square, the One and Thousand Nights Beach, Shikhov Beach, and Oil Rocks. Baku’s vicinities feature Yanar Dag, an ever-blazing spot of natural gas.

Whether you want to see the historical sites in Gobustan, Yanar Dar, or want to attend a corporate meeting, it is always advisable to rent a car Baku, so you can experience the city at it’s best.

Advantages in traveling around Baku by car

You become in charge of the car

Traveling around a new country via public transport or taxis can be a daunting experience. Let’s be honest, you don’t know the roads, and the taxi fares shoot up to the sky.

Not to mention, both ways, you’re limited. You go on specified roads and sometimes, in case you’re a traveler, the public transport doesn’t cover your whole itinerary.

Therefore, it is always wise and economical to rent a car. You not only become in charge of the car for the rent time frame, but you also take full advantage of this freedom.

You can roam around in style

Let’s say if you can buy a Lamborghini, why would you drive an old Sedan?

The same is the case here. If you can afford a nice luxury car that can take you around the town, why not rent it right away? Why compromise on your day-to-day luxury for the so-called local experience when you know that’s just an overstatement?

Even if you can’t afford it, it is beyond good to break free from the crowds and go wherever you want.

You can choose your type of car

So, what are your needs? An SUV? Auto or manual? You choose.
That’s the kind of freedom that renting a car gives you.

How we can help you?

We’ve been helping customers like you roam around in this city of wonder or attend their valuable meeting for years now. Our unique mileage limits, car variety, and the hassle-free renting process are what makes our customers return back for more.

So, why waste time when you can sit back and relax in the back seat of your rented car right when you land? Rent a car in Baku with us and let us show you want this city is made of.

Sri Lanka is a fascinating land of diverse cultures, UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and awe-inspiring natural scenery. The island country is jam-packed with incredible activities for all travelers and it’s a challenge picking your first adventure.

Join a spiritual pilgrimage, chase waterfalls, visit glorious temples, or simply relish the laid-back vibe. If you’re planning a trip to Sri Lanka, check out this list of eight places to include in your itinerary.

Sigiriya Fortress

This ancient palace is a brilliant representation of city development using the elements of Mother Nature. A UNESCO World Heritage Site and often dubbed the Eighth Wonder of the World, Sigiriya Fortress dates to the 5th Century AD when it was designed as an elaborate capital.

The complex was built on top of an enormous rock column nearly 200 meters above the jungle. A stone lion guards the entrance to the abandoned city and its walls are decorated with gorgeous frescoes.

Once you reach the ruins, you’ll find a network of gardens, pools, and other fortifications.

Adam’s Peak

Standing at 2,243 meters, Adam’s Peak is a cherished pilgrimage for many Sri Lankans. Sri Pada sits just below the mountain’s peak and holds religious significance for several faiths of the island.

Buddhists believe the rock formation to be the Buddha’s footprint, Hindus claim the footprint belongs to Lord Shiva, and some Christians and Muslims believe it was Adam’s first step after being cast away from the Garden of Eden.

Pilgrims climb to the sacred footprint at night for jaw-dropping views of the surrounding scenery at dawn. Trekkers must conquer thousands of steps, but the rugged staircase is illuminated if you hike during the pilgrimage season.

Diyaluma Falls

At 220 meters, Diyaluma Falls is Sri Lanka’s second tallest waterfall. Intrepid travelers up for an exciting hike are greeted with insane panoramic views from the top of the tumbling falls.

A tuk-tuk ride from Ella takes you to the starting point of the trail that leads to the upper falls. The heart-racing scenery of the dense forest and rolling hills is one of Sri Lanka’s most dramatic sights.

Cool off at lower Diyaluma Falls by going for a swim in the cliffside infinity pools overlooking the valley.

Kandy Lake

Kandy Lake is a man-made lake that was constructed in 1807 right beside the Temple of the Tooth. A stroll around the lake offers a peaceful escape from the urban sprawl and picturesque views of Kandy’s scenic hills. There are seats scattered around the lake where you can rest your feet or listen to birds chirping in the trees.

Joggers use the shaded path for exercise, and lively vendors sell snacks and souvenirs on the lake’s edge. There is an island in the lake steeped with local folklore, and you can go for an enchanting boat ride for a closer look.

Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic

Located in Kandy, the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic houses the most illustrious Buddhist artifact in Sri Lanka. The Buddha’s tooth is stored inside a gold casket, and prayers are made to the relic three times daily.

The lavish temple complex was the royal temple for the former Kingdom of Kandy and is decorated with intricate shrines and murals. Thousands of worshippers visit the temple to make offerings known as pujas.

Tours in Sri Lanka will allow you to witness the ceremonial prayers, but you must follow the dress code. Your legs and shoulders must be covered, and no shoes are allowed inside.

Galle Dutch Fort

Galle Dutch Fort is a UNESCO World Heritage Site dating to the times of European colonialism in Sri Lanka. Originally built by the Portuguese in the 16th century, the fort was captured by the Dutch and underwent extensive modifications.

The fort became the epicenter of the spice trade and the town was built within its walls. By taking the Fort Walk, you’ll pass historic structures of the complex like the Old Gate, bastions and ramparts.

Dambulla Royal Cave Temple

Roughly 45 miles north of Kandy, the Dambulla Cave Temple is the most sophisticated cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. Buddhist hermits occupied the caves in the first century B.C. and the caves are decorated with murals and statues.

The temple consists of five sanctuaries that contain over 150 statues of Lord Buddha and masterful paintings lining the ceiling. Although the exquisite artwork transformed the caves into a beloved historic site, the remains of ancient Sri Lankans have been discovered within the complex.

After exploring the network of caves, climb the rock tower for unbelievable views above the surrounding area.

Gangaramaya Temple

Gangaramaya Temple is one of Colombo’s most sacred Buddhist temples that stores an intriguing mix of artifacts and statues. Once a modest complex near the tranquil Beira Lake, the temple is revered for its dynamic architectural styles. Sri Lankan, Chinese, Indian, and Thai influence can be spotted in various places in the temple’s design.

Golden Buddha statues guard the doorway to the main place of worship and the grounds display various lion and nymph figurines. The museum stores additional Buddha statues and various relics from around the world.

Also, Gangaramaya Temple is an educational center that teaches Buddhist principles and helps those within the community.

The post Top 4 reason you should go for sailing trips appeared first on Tourist Destinations.

Human beings are getting exhausted to keep pace with the dynamic world. Though they spend a decent amount of money on vacation, they don’t know how to use the time properly. Vacation doesn’t mean, you will spend thousands of dollars and take fancy photos. It’s more about mental relaxation. Sailing has become more convenient over the period as big companies are offering yacht charter service. This means you can rent a yacht and sail in the ocean during your holidays.

Thousands of reasons can be stated for which you need to go on a sailing trip. But today we are going to highlight the top four reasons for which you should spend the vacation on sailing trips.

Discover the deep blue sea

We all know about the sea but very few of us have taken the step to explore the beauty of the sea. In the past, sailing was a very expensive process but things have changed a lot over the past years. Nowadays the sailing package is more affordable, normal people like us can enjoy long vacations in the deep blue. Very few people had the chance to spend the night in the middle of the ocean enjoying a glass of wine. Imagine spending time with your family members and sailing in the gentle breeze of the ocean. Unless you do it in real life, you will never understand how relaxing the trip is.

Explore the unknown

When you will sail in the see, you will get the unique opportunity to learn many new things. But for that, you need to take the service from the reputed companies like intersailclub. The professional crew members will tell lots of facts and the ocean and its surroundings. And you can learn a lot about the sea trip on the first voyage. Though some of you might feel uncomfortable talking with the strangers or the cabin crew, they are professional and gentle. However, if you still intend to enjoy the moment all by yourself, you can go for the bareboat.

The bareboat trip is a little bit complex since it requires some skill and understanding of the ocean to take control of the boat. Try to find some of your friend who knows how to sail across the sea and you can go for the bareboat trip.

Find your inner peace

Do you want to find inner peace? If so, sailing might be the perfect option. Many couples have said that sailing in the sea has let them know each other better. We are so biased with the hard work, we barely had the chance to talk freely with our loved ones. And land trips will never give such an option since you will be always distracted by the chaos around your surroundings. But if you sail on the ocean, no is there is to disturb you. You can enjoy the true beauty of the vast ocean.

Improves your productivity

Going for the sailing trip during the vacations improves productivity. Though it might sound a little bit weird people who spend more time in the sea leads a more disciplined life. During the trip, you will learn to make a quick decision and it will also improve your team playing skills. Spending a few days with the crew members or having a bareboat experience can uphold your confidence level to a great extent.

Live your life to the full. There is nothing to wrong to sail on the ocean when it has so many advantages. Go for it and see the vast blue ocean at peace.

Most people arriving at Alicante/Elche Airport (ALC) are on their way to either Benidorm, Calpe, Torrevieja or one other the other smaller Costa Blanca resorts.

Called the Costa Blanca (white coast) due to the endless stretches of pristine white sand this part of sunny Spain has long been a popular destination for millions of European tourists each year.

Getting around Alicante is usually stress-free thanks to the number of trams/trains stations that are all around the city. Getting from Alicante Airport though, If you don’t book a transfer with a coach or shuttle company, you will be forced to get a taxi from the airport which can add hidden surcharges to your fare. Of course, if you book a taxi in advance you’ll have an idea of the fee but your time of travel may still dictate extra charges being added on. If you would prefer to get off the beaten track while staying at your hotel and avoid the higher priced excursions, you may prefer to drive your family around and explore other local tourist hot-spots. After a little research into car hire fuel policies and car hire excess, hiring a car at Alicante airport could actually be the best option for an adventurous trip.

Do you really need to get a rental car? What many visitors do not realize in their haste to get to their hotels or rental accommodations, is that the province of Alicante itself has many beautiful beaches along with plenty of things to see and do.

Overlooked by an imposing Moorish fortress renamed the Castillo de Santa Bárbara following the Reconquista in 1246 Alicante has a glitzy marina and palm-fringed promenade called the Paseo de la Explanada España which is just splendid!

Tucked away a couple of streets from the seafront is the city’ Old Town where you will find a maze of cobbled stone streets that wind their way up to the castle.

Adorned with flowers hanging from wrought-iron balconies, the Old Town is where you will discover Alicante’s best tapas bars and restaurants.

Besides visiting the castle to learn about its rich and illustrious history, you can visit the MARQ Museum of Archaeology, wander around the Roman ruins of Lucentum or take a boat trip to the pirate island of Tabarca.

Tabarca is an islet located close to the town of Santa Pola, in the province of Alicante and is also a sanctuary for the protection of birds. From May to October, you can enjoy a 40-minute ride on a glass-bottomed Catamaran which leaves daily from May to October. The water is crystal clear here, therefore, you can really appreciate the maritime fauna underneath the glass floor of your boat.

Summer is, of course, the best time to visit Alicante but in the offseason, some incredible bargains can be found for airfares and accommodation and other than perhaps November and April you can expect to have sunny weather with clear blue skies. Check Tourism updates here.
