The small island of Nauru sits on South Pacific Ocean and largely known for its being the smallest independent country in the world. The history of Nauru is largely based on mining in its rich phosphate deposits. The island has a tropical climate and its terrain is largely composed of sandy beaches and coral reefs especially on the shallow areas.

A quarter of Bahrain’s popularity, about 155, 000 people live in Manama which is the largest city and capital of Bahrain. Manama enjoys a desert tropical weather characterized by humid summers and dry winters at night.

The country of Malawi in Africa has its capital as Lilongwe. This extremely green city has a total population of slightly less than 1 million people. In fact, due to the many trees and grassy land, visitors sometimes wonder whether Lilongwe really has a city centre or not.

The largest city in Afghanistan, Kabul has served as the country’s capital since 1776 to date. Thanks to the numerous wars taking place in the country, Kabul has undergone through severe damage and experienced great suffering for years.

Located close to Lake Victoria shores, Kampala is the administrative, economic and cultural capital of Uganda. Generally, the locals are very friendly, kind and highly approachable and with about 2.5 million it is the largest, most populous and developed city in Uganda with other towns seriously lagging behind in terms of development.

Nicaragua boasts of having Managua not just the largest city in the country but also its capital city. Currently, Managua has a population of about 1.8 million people, largely dominated by the whites and mestizos. As such, Managua ranks second when it comes to the most populous Central American cities after the city of Guatemala.
