The Colosseum also goes by other names such as the Coliseum or the Flavian Ampitheatre. This elliptical amphitheatre is located at the heart of Rome city in Italy and it is built of stone and concrete. During the Roman Empire, it served as the largest amphitheatre and history records it as one of the greatest and most notable works of engineering and the Roman architecture in general. The Colosseum has also been recognized as the word’s largest amphitheatre and it is an amazing piece of work.

The Louvre boasts of being one of the largest museums in the world and it is one of the most reverend historic monuments in Paris. It serves as the central landmark in the city of Paris, France. This museum is home to more than 35, 000 pre historical objects together with other artifacts.

Located in West Midlands, Birmingham is the second largest city in Britain and was known as the ‘Workshop of the World’ and ‘City of a 1000 Trades’ during the Victorian period. The locals call it Brum and the city is currently enjoying a modernized resurgence as one of the greatest cultural and shopping destinations in Europe.
