As the capital city of Guinea Bissau, Bissau is actually the largest and most affluent city in the country. Direct flights in to the city are readily available especially by the Senegal Airlines which have frequent flights from Dakar to the country.

Despite being the capital city of Gambia, the island city of Banjul is not the largest in the country but comes second. It has a population of just over 40, 000 inhabitants with a significant portion of the population preferring to stay on mainland between Banjul and the airport.

While the Bangui, Central African Republic enjoys the pride of being located at the geographic center of the African content, the city has remained as one of the unsafe places in Africa.
