Baden Baden is a spa urban centre in Germany. The name Baden Baden is German and translates to Bathing Bathing. The Faberge Museum is a privately owned and run museum with gems, Carl Faberge eggs, and jewelry. This museum supplies jewelry to European nobility like the Russian tsar. Other attractions in Baden Baden include the Lichtental Monastery, Baden Baden City Museum, Ruins of Romans Baths, and Castle Hohenbaden.
Besides seeing these attractions, there is also quite a lot to do in Baden Baden as well. Taking a walk in the forests and hills around town and river Oos is always an exciting activity. You can pick a booklet at Trinkhalle and get an idea of the walks you can take depends on the bus routes. Walking is quite enjoyable and generally easy. Thermal baths in Baden Baden are very fulfilling and it is something that you shouldn’t miss. Romerplatz is home to Roman baths ruins and you can enjoy thermal waters at Friedrichsbad and Caracalla Therme. Caracalla Therme is a modern bathing complex with steam rising in the many outdoor pools found here. Once you get to the pool area, you will find several outdoor and indoor pools to enjoy yourself, whirlpools, a café, water jets, and waterfalls among others. Children below three years of age are not allowed in the pool and you should be well-advised if you are going on a vacation here with your family.
While at Caracalla Therme spa, you will be required to wear your swimming costumes all the time while at the pools just like the nearby Friedrichsbad Spa.
